Gongfu Teacup – Copper Flame Exterior & White Interior

This 70ml gongfu-style teacup is formed from warm, toasted orange stoneware clay, rich in earthy tones. The exterior is brushed with a deep copper glaze, shifting between burnished bronze, autumnal reds, and ember-like highlights, depending on how the light catches it. The interior is left pure: glazed in a glossy, clean white to let your tea’s color shine through with full clarity.

The contrast of textures and tones is intentional - heat and cool, rustic and refined, raw earth and porcelain smoothness. This piece is made to deepen your tea rituals with tactile presence and visual harmony. Slightly larger than the traditional gongfu sip, this size allows just enough room for any tea tastings without interrupting the rhythm of pouring and pausing.

Each cup is wheel-thrown by hand in my studio and fired with care. No two are the same, but all are made with the same intention: to serve as a companion to your quiet moments.
